Scam Alert: Spoofed Whitefish Credit Union Phone Calls
We have received a report of a scam call where the caller ID appeared to show Whitefish Credit Union and one of our phone numbers. The caller claimed the member’s debit card had been compromised and asked questions about recent card activity.
Please remember: scammers can “spoof” phone numbers and names so a call looks like it is coming from Whitefish Credit Union, even when it is not.
Whitefish Credit Union will never call and ask you for your full debit card number, PIN, online banking password, one-time passcode, or other sensitive account information.
